Yes, upon completion, recognized by partner newsrooms in Canada. Digital certificates include a verifiable ID for portfolio use.
Is financial aid available?#
We offer scholarships and instalment plans. Limited need-based bursaries are released each term.
What equipment do I need?#
A modern laptop and, for audio courses, a basic USB microphone. For video reporting, a smartphone with 1080p camera suffices.
What time zone are classes scheduled?#
Classes run primarily in Eastern Time (ET, Canada). Recordings are uploaded within 12 hours for other time zones.
What is your refund policy?#
Full refunds are available within 7 days of course start. After that, pro‑rated credits may apply.
Scholarship seats are non‑refundable.
Do I need prior journalism experience?#
No, beginners are welcome. Advanced tracks require a short portfolio review.
What payment methods do you accept?#
We accept major credit cards and Interac e‑Transfer for Canadian students. Instalments are scheduled automatically.
Are internships or newsroom placements available?#
Top performers may be recommended for partner newsroom placements each term; availability varies by city.
Is the platform accessible?#
